Former Delhi Speaker and Minister Dr Yoganand Shastri returns to the Congress fold in the presence of Shri Deepak Babaria and DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav

NEW DELHI, —NCP Delhi unit president Dr Yoganand Shastri, who was a former Minister of the Congress Government and Speaker, returned to the Congress fold as he was welcomed to the party by AICC General Secretary In-charge of Delhi Congress Shri Deepak Babaria and DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav, at the AICC office, Akbar Road today. Shri Babaria offered Congress scarf to Dr Yoganand Shastri to welcome him to the Congress fold. Others present were Chairman of the Communications Department of the DPCC Shri Anil Bhardwaj and INTEC National Vice-Chairman Shri Ashok Singh. A large number of Congress workers and supporters of Dr Shastri were also present.

DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav said that Dr Yoganand Shastri was a very senior leader of Delhi, and his return to Congress will further strengthen the party. He said that the party will hugely benefit from the deep political experience of Shri Yoganand Shastri.
